CHINA LAUNCHES ITS FIRST TELEVISION CHANNEL 3D

The new channel will deliver sports, movies and cartoons in three dimensions. China started its first broadcasts television channel in three dimensions operated by China Central Television (CCTV) and five local stations. The service was formally launched on January 23, a date which marks the beginning of the week of Lunar New Year holiday in China.
Programming

The channel is freely available and gives 4.5 hours of 3D programs each day, which will be repeated twice, according to official news agency Xinhua. In total there are 13 hours of broadcast a day from las10: 30of the morning to midnight. As detailed, they may be sports, cartoon shows and three-dimensional effects.
