GOOGLE WILL PRESENT AN ONLINE STORE FOR DOWNLOADING MUSIC

(Noticias24) Nov 16 (Reuters) - Google on Wednesday submitted an online store to download music that will have songs from all three major record companies, reported the Wall Street Journal citing people familiar with the matter. It is expected that Sony Music Entertainment, owned by Sony <6758.T>, the Universal Music Group, Vivendi SA and EMI Music have prepared agreements with Google for the announcement Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles, the newspaper reported. Google Music Store to compete with dominant, Apple iTunes and other digital music services. Google's store sold songs for an estimated price for a dollar a song, the Wall Street Journal. It is also expected to allow users to purchase music free to share one or two issues with your contacts in Google + social network, the newspaper said. No representative of Google, Sony and Universal Music responded to requests for comment. An EMI spokeswoman declined to comment.
